What are some good vampire books?

I read the cirque du freak(darren shan), the chronicles of vladimir tod(heather brewer), vampire kisses(ellen shcreiber) and vampire high(dougl rees). i dont think i would like stephanie meyer, ann rice, bram stoker, kristin and pc cast, or buffy the vampire slayer or the vampire diaries...im looking for not-famous books or less famous books that not everyone knows about.if you have any books to recommend i love to read about vampires! (but not things like twilight, more gruesome or scary.) thanks! and i suggest anyone who likes vampires, you should read the darren shan series its called the cirque du freak (1st book)
