Is this a little rediculous or is it just me?

I agree its absolutely ridiculous. It's just bored american teens latching on to something that is bigger then them as has some flash. I think that MTV has a lot to do with it. That used to be a good channel like 15 years ago but now it is total crap that warps the mind of the younger generation.
