Magic the gathering - cloven casting and unearth?

Unearth counts as a sorcery, so im uming i could use cloven casting on a mulit-colored card that has unearth. So my question is, would i have to have another creature card of the same name in the graveyard in order to play it on the field? Or would it create a copy of the creature on the field.
